OOLONG TEA
Ingredients: Camellia Sinensis var. Sinensis var. Aijiao-Wulong
Harvest: May 2017
Origin: Dongfeng Village, Wu Yi Shan, Fujian, China
Tasting notes: sweet, creamy-milky, dried fruit
Ai Jiao, also called "Dwarf Oolong", is harvested in the south of the Wu Yi Shan region. This tea is a first flush picked from 120-150 year old shrubs growing in the Zhu Ke mountains. The liqueur has a smooth and mineral taste, with enough body and a sweet aftertaste. The dried fruit flavor gives it freshness and uniqueness compared to classic Wu Yi teas such as Da Hong Pao or Rou Gui.
