BLACK TEA
Ingredients: Camellia Sinensis var. Assamica var. Yes Ye Zhong
Harvest: March 2018
Origin: Wu Liang Mountains, Dali, Yunnan, China
Tasting notes: bergamot, dates, mineral, menthol
This tea is cultivated by the Yi minority in the Wu Liang Mountains, hence the name "Yi Mei Ren" which translates as "the beautiful one from the Yi Tribe". The atypical processing method places it between an oolong tea and a black tea. It is surprisingly fruity and without astringency.
