WHAT IS CASCARA?
The fruits of the coffee tree grow in the form of cherries. Cascara is the pulp of the fruit, and coffee beans are the kernels.
Surprisingly, the cascara does not taste like coffee, but a fruity aroma. Cascara is between tea and coffee: it comes from the coffee tree, contains 4-8 times less caffeine, but traditionally it is dried and infused like a "tea".
Very rich in antioxidants, Cascara has an ORAC value of 343900, ranking 4th in the world in the list of superfoods, 80 times stronger antioxidant than goji.

INFUSION GUIDE
Amount of water: 250 ml
Water temperature: 95˚C or 5˚C
Amount of tea: 10 gr / 2 half spoons for 95˚C or 11 gr for 5˚C / 2 half spoons - 3 spoons
Hot infusion
10 gr at 95˚C: 5 min first infusion / add 5 minutes for each new infusion (example: 10 minutes second infusion)
Number of infusions: maximum 2
Cold infusion
11 gr at 5˚C: 24 hours.
Number of infusions: 1
